After more than a decade and thousands of conversations with generous people from different walks of life, one truth became impossible to ignore: most organizations are naturally centered around their cause - the mission, the need, and the impact they are trying to create. But very few stop to deeply understand the giver.
That realization became the foundation of Generous Humans. We believe generosity is deeply personal. It does not look the same in everyone. It takes different forms, moves through different expressions, and evolves across different seasons of life.
For the first time, we chose to build a platform intentionally centered around the individual - their identity, their wiring, their story, and the unique way they are designed to create impact. Because when you begin with who a person truly is, everything changes. Generosity becomes more authentic. Purpose becomes clearer. Impact becomes more meaningful.
Generous Humans exists to help people discover and live out their unique generosity identity-so they can give, lead, and live from a place that is fully aligned with who they were created to be.

Zach Barnnett is the founder of Generous Humans, an identity-driven platform helping people discover and live out their unique generosity identity.
After years of conversations with individuals, leaders, and generous givers across different walks of life, Zach recognized a recurring gap in the way generosity was often communicated. Most organizations focused primarily on the mission, the need, or the impact - while very few truly stopped to understand the person behind the giving.
That realization became the foundation for Generous Humans. Zach believes generosity is far more than financial contribution; it is an expression of identity. It looks different in every person, shaped by their story, values, gifts, influence, and season of life. Through Generous Humans, he is building a movement centered on helping people discover how they are uniquely wired to give, lead, serve, and create impact in the world.
At the core of Zach’s vision is a simple belief:when people truly understand who they are, generosity becomes natural, impactful, and transformational - not just for others, but for themselves.
